How can I get free shipping?

Where do you ship from?
Right from our East Vancouver studio and warehouse in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
I live in Vancouver, can I pick up my order?
Yes! Choose Local Pickup at checkout. Swing by Mon–Fri, 9AM–4PM with your order number or confirmation email.
Shipping Methods
- Canada: Standard via Chit Chats (optional Purolator Express for 1–2 day delivery)
- U.S: Standard via USPS (optional DHL Express for 1–3 day delivery
When will my order ship?
We send orders out Mon/Wed/Fri (excluding holidays). Most orders ship within 2 business days, though busy seasons like holidays may take a little longer.
Delivery Times
- Free shipping: Canada 3–14 days, U.S. 9–21 days.
- Courier strikes, weather delays, or other hiccups are outside our control, but we’ll always do our best to help!
Import Taxes & Duties
- For international orders, any customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient.
- Canadian orders? No customs fees here.
How do courier strikes impact the timeline for my delivery?
If the courier who is delivering your order is on strike, there may be delays receiving your package.
Since we have no control over these strikes we are not responsible for any shipping delays due to courier strikes.
Returns
What is your return policy?
- We want you to love your jewelry! Unworn items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Sale items are final sale.
- Holiday shoppers rejoice: orders placed Nov 1–Dec 31 can be returned until Jan 31.
Extended returns window for Holiday Shopping
November 1st to December 31st
For any orders placed between November 1 and December 31, we will extend our typical 30 day return window and customers may have until January 31st to request a return.
All other returns policies remain the same for items bought in this window.
How do I start a return?
Email us at customersupport@loverstempo.com with your order number and we’ll guide you through it.
Are returns free?
- Shipping costs for returns are the customer’s responsibility (unless the item is damaged/defective).
- Items returned outside original packaging: 15% restocking fee
- Our promise: we keep designs beautiful but prices fair—so we don’t include return shipping in the product price, which helps us keep your favorite pieces affordable!
Purchased from a retailer?
All returns/exchanges must go through the original store. Retailer purchases aren’t eligible for returns directly through us, but we happily support defect claims through our wholesale partners.

Jewelry Care & Product Help
Will my jewelry tarnish?
- All plated jewelry naturally fades over time. How fast depends on wear habits, body chemistry, and care. Rings show wear fastest, earrings the slowest.
- Protect your pieces: avoid water, wipe gently after wear, store in a sealed container.
Waterproof jewelry
Yes, shower and swim safe! Made with 316L stainless steel + PVD gold, our waterproof collection stays lustrous without tarnishing.
Skin reactions / green fingers?
- Some metals may temporarily turn your skin green (harmless).
- Our waterproof collection? No green fingers here!
Where is your jewelry made?
Our jewelry is designed in our beautiful studio in East Vancouver, BC. These concepts come to life with the help of our carefully selected manufacturing partners all over the world. We are in close contact with each of our manufacturers and only secure relationships with those who are astute to detail and quality. We have high standards for ethical business practices and require that all our vendor partners sign agreements confirming ethical labor practices and environmentally conscious business standards.
Most of our collection is made by our close network of makers from South Korea with some pieces having components that come from Vietnam and China.
Our jewelry boxes and pouches are made in China.

- Gold-Plated: Thin layer of real gold over brass. Beautiful but needs care.
- Gold Vermeil: Thick gold over sterling silver. Elegant and long-lasting.
- Gold-Filled: Durable, water- and tarnish-resistant; 5% solid gold over brass.
- Silver-Plated & Rhodium-Plated: Electroplated for shine; rhodium gives cooler tone.
- Waterproof Collection: 316L stainless steel + PVD gold, shower- and tarnish-safe.
- Crystals & Stones: Cubic zirconia, glass crystals and freshwater pearls are our go-tos!
- Other Materials: Brass, recycled silver, cellulose acetate (eco-friendly), Italian velvet.
