How can I get free shipping?
We offer free shipping on all orders over $60! While many of us are growing to expect free shipping on everything, the reality is that shipping is rarely “free”. The price of the shipping gets bundled into the cost of the products. We like to make sure our prices are as approachable as possible. We also prioritize shipping methods that are friendlier on the planet.

We ship from our East Vancouver design studio and warehouse in British Columbia, Canada.
I live in Vancouver, can I pick up my order?
Yes! You can pick your order up from our boutique on West 6th! Choose local pickup at checkout. You can pick up during our business hours from Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 6pm (excludes holidays). Bring your order confirmation or order number!
What shipping method does Lover's Tempo use?
Lover's Tempo ships all orders using Canada Post. Our free shipping over $60 option is standard expedited parcel shipping which has a much lower carbon footprint than express shipping options. If you are in a time crunch, we do offer express shipping options at an additional cost (flat rate $15).
Customers in the United States may use our default Canada post shipping options (Tracked Packet USA) or opt for our guaranteed 1-2 day delivery through DHL for $37.
When will my order be shipped?
We aim to ship all orders within 1-2 business days, subject to availability. If you require your order to be rushed please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and date you are hoping to receive the order by and we will do everything possible to expedite your order.
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate shipping information. Any packages that are delayed or lost due to inaccuracies in the shipping details provided by the customer are not the responsibility of Lover's Tempo.
When will I receive my order?
Expected delivery dates depend on the shipping option selected at checkout. Please ensure you are selecting an option that suits the needs of your timeline for receiving your jewelry.
Will I have to pay import taxes and duties?
Lover's Tempo is not responsible for customs or taxes associated with international shipping. We do not assume responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen items during transit.
What is your return policy?
Customer satisfaction is very important to us.
We stand by our products. If you are unhappy for any reason with your Lover’s Tempo purchase, e-mail us at email@example.com. We are happy to accept returns of unworn pieces in their original packaging within 30 days of receipt with the exception of sale items which are all final sale. Returns of pieces not in their original packaging will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. We will not accept returns of worn pieces.
Please contact us if you would like a return shipping label so that you can mail your unworn jewelry back.
If you have a damaged or defective item, please reach out to us and we will look into some options for how to best resolve that for you.
Are returns free?
The cost of the shipping label for any return is the customers responsibility. Returns of pieces not in their original packaging will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
One of our brand promises is that good design doesn't have to cost a fortune. When businesses offer free return shipping labels what they aren't telling you is that the cost of those shipping fees are built into the price of the product. Instead of charging $65 for a pair of earrings and offering free return shipping labels, we charge $48 and deduct return expenses from the refund amount on your order to keep the products we make more accessibly priced.
This method allows our small business to continue to offer reasonably priced styles for all of our customers.
Can I return an item I purchased from a retail store?
We cannot process returns for items purchased at one of our retail partners. All returns for items purchased from one of our retail partners must be returned to the original retailer where the item was purchased. This includes claims of product defects. When our retail partners purchase the products from us, they become the owners of that product. When you purchase the product from a store, you are conducting a transaction with the store where it is purchased.
Lover’s Tempo is unable to process returns, refunds or exchanges on products purchased through our retailers due to the fact that we did not process the payment for that item.
We do work closely with all of our valued retail partners to handle product defect claims through our wholesale channels. If you are returning a defective item to a retail store please let them know that we at Lover’s Tempo will be happy to work with them to resolve the issue after they have accepted the product back from you.

Materials & Jewelry Care
Will my jewelry tarnish?
All plated jewelry will tarnish over time. Plating jewelry is a process where a thin layer of gold or silver is electroplated onto a base metal such as brass. Making plated jewelry allows us to offer beautiful pieces at an accessible price point. Anything plated will fade, and the rate at which that happens depends largely on the way in which an individual cares for their pieces as well as their natural body composition. This can happen as quickly as after 1 week of wear, up to a couple of years, or sometimes never!
The good news is that there are lots of simple steps you can take to help extend the life of your plated jewelry such as avoiding contact with water and storing it in a sealed container when not being worn. Read more about how to care for your jewelry here.
Some pieces of jewelry wear faster than others. Gold plated jewelry will show more obvious signs of wear than silver plated jewelry. Earrings will tarnish slower than necklaces, and bracelets. Rings tarnish the fastest due it being a high touch area.
If you’re having trouble with pieces fading faster than you would like, you may find more success with our Sustainable Demi-Fine collection which is made from gold vermeil and has a thicker layer of gold plating.
Because there are so many factors outside of our control when it comes to the lifespan of plated jewelry we cannot guarantee the longevity of a piece. For these reasons, a tarnished or faded piece is not an eligible reason for a return.

Where is your jewelry made?
Our jewelry is designed in our beautiful studio in East Vancouver, BC. These concepts come to life with the help of our carefully selected manufacturing partners all over the world. We are in close contact with each of our manufacturers and only secure relationships with those who are astute to detail and quality. We have high standards for ethical business practices and require that all our vendor partners sign agreements confirming ethical labor practices and environmentally conscious business standards.
Most of our Sustainable Demi-Fine collection is made in Thailand by makers who prioritize positive impacts to people and minimize negative impacts on our planet. Our makers in Thailand are passionate about conscious production, giving back to their community and empowering women. They operate in a facility that aims to be 75% solar-powered by 2025.
Our Love Coin necklaces from the Sustainable Demi-Fine collection are made in our hometown, Vancouver, Canada. Making part of our Sustainable Demi-Fine collection in our hometown greatly reduces our carbon footprint required for shipping pieces from overseas. Plus our expert jewelers have over 40 years of experience in the industry so each piece is meticulously handcrafted from the heart!
The rest of our collection is made by our close network of makers from South Korea with some pieces having components that come from Vietnam and China.
Our jewelry boxes and pouches are made in China.
Can you fix my jewelry?
We do not repair broken jewelry. Sometimes a piece of jewelry seems broken but it is a simple fix that we can guide you through! Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org explaining your situation to us and we will do our best to help.
Will you replace one of my lost earrings?
It's absolutely tragic when this happens! Send an email to email@example.com explaining your situation to us and we will do our best to help. Since all of our earrings come in pairs, we are unable to sell one single earring. Sometimes though, we do have the occasional single lady earring in our studio. We may be able to send you one of these if it matches your lost earring, just pay for the shipping. Of course, this can only be done on a case by case basis, so send us an email!
Can I have my order gift wrapped?
If you’d like to have your order gift wrapped, you can add the option here. You can let us know which item you’d like us to wrap in the notes section if you have multiple items in your cart. The item will be inserted in our pink cotton pouch, and placed in a Lover’s Tempo gift box. The box will be wrapped with our branded ribbon with a blank note card for you to write on.
Why do some plated rings turn my finger green?
While it doesn't happen to everyone, sometimes green staining can occur as a result of a metal in the jewelry reacting with your skin, or something on your skin like hand lotion. It's important to note that this staining is totally harmless and non-permanent. Although often associated with lower priced pieces, it can happen with any jewelry!
There are ways of preventing that, such as painting clear nail polish on the inside of the ring to keep it from making contact with your finger.

Since people have sensitivities to so many different things, it is impossible for us to predict how an individual may react to our jewelry. Please purchase at your own risk and note that we do not offer refunds for allergies.
