THE ART
[TITLE] by Paula Barrantes
As part of our goal to create a more sustainable business, we’re exploring ways to design a full lifecycle for our products. Through our Full Circle Artist Program, our ultimate goal is to inspire art, creativity and dialogue around sustainability.
THE ARTIST
Meet Paula Barrantes
Paula Barrantes is a watercolourist and muralist specializing in
botanical art. Her love for painting and nature began as a young girl,
surrounded by the lush gardens of Costa Rica. She went on to study art
in Canada and the US, receiving a BFA from San Francisco Art Institute.
Whether depicting a misty tropical forest or the cuttings from her garden, Paula’s art is about the joy of being surrounded by nature. Her latest work is inspired by her grandma's tradition of sharing plants in old containers. Sending someone off with succulents in a can of sour cream was her way of expressing a love for nature.
