“A Feast of Friends” represents the beauty and complexity of friendship. Each bird in the piece symbolizes a different personality, a unique voice within the community, and yet, they all come together harmoniously. I used repurposed jewelry to reflect the idea that we all bring our individual stories—our own pasts, brokenness, and brilliance—into our friendships. These pieces, which once had a different purpose, are now part of something new and meaningful, just like how we contribute to each other’s lives. - Paula Barrantes, pura-luna.com

"The opportunity to integrate materials into my artwork, especially products that could end up as waste. In the past, I worked with repurposed wood, fabrics and embroidery materials. I could easily see Lover's Tempo designs, with their delicate lines and natural patterns, as an ideal companion to my botanical illustrations." - Paula Barrantes

Paula has created two stunning art pieces in partnership with our Full Circle Artist Program which she has dubbed A Feast of Friends & The Gift.
