Full Circle Artist Program: Meet our Artist

As part of our goal to create a more sustainable business, we’ve been exploring ways to design a full lifecycle for our products. With today being Earth Day, we couldn't think of a more poetic time to introduce our Full Circle Artist Program and our inaugural artist-in-residence.

Through Full Circle, our goal is to keep our jewelry out of the landfill and to inspire art, creativity and dialogue around sustainability. Learn more about the Full Circle Artist Program here.

To reach this goal, we are collaborating with Canadian artist Danielle Krysa who will incorporate our jewels into a unique piece of art.  This work of art will be auctioned online this fall with full proceeds being donated to our tree-planting partner Ecodrive.

Danielle Krysa is a Canadian artist who works with found imagery and found objects together to create a brand new story. Danielle’s recent work, both sculptures and mixed media collages, have focused on the idea of looking for beauty and strength, in place of damage and weakness. Broken can be beautiful, trash can be treasure, and a bit of cheeky humor can always be found — you just have to keep your eyes open.

Danielle has also authored several books and is the creator of The Jealous Curator, a contemporary art site and podcast.

We hope you’ll join us as we document Danielle’s creative process and see recycled Lover’s Tempo pieces evolve into something entirely new! We’ll be sharing work in progress updates right here on our blog and over on Instagram too.

The Full Circle Artist Program is an all-encompassing collaboration - and we’d love for you to join us! You can help create a more sustainable future and in the process, contribute to a unique piece of art. Complete this form to recycle your aging jewelry (you’ll receive a thank you gift for your participation!).
